Victor Rebullida

Victor Rebullida was born in Zaragoza (Spain) in 1963

His music has been performed by the National Orchestra of Spain, Orchestra of the Spanish Radio Television, Symphonic Orchestra of Madrid, Orchestra of the Community of Madrid, Orchestra of Cadaqués, Luxembourg Sinfonietta and other important soloists and chamber ensembles in various places of the national and international geography: London (Royal Academy of Music), Munich (III Cycle Contemporary Spanish Music in Europe), Yokohama (ISCM World Music Days 2001), Luxembourg, Mexico City, Stockholm Culture Festival.

Among others he has won two awards S.G.A.E. for Young Composers, Queen Sofía for orchestral music, Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando in Madrid, Joaquín Turina of the City of Seville or Virgen de la Almudena in Madrid.

Composed the music for the theatrical production of the film "Metropolis" (by Fritz Lang). This work won the Max Awards of the Performing Arts in 2010 in the category of Best Revelation Show.

Works in different didactical projects for young people.

In May 2019, a new theatrical production with Rebullida music entitled "El Cielo sobre Berlin" was presented in public on Win Wenders "Wings of Desire" film. This large-format show was enthusiastically welcomed by the public and specialists.

He is part of composition and interpretation juries and collaborates with various publications. He is a resident composer and artistic advisor to the orchestra of the Teatro de las Esquinas in Zaragoza (Spain)
